Our Story

GB Toys & Models Direct has always been driven by passion, but like most things in life, the journey hasn’t been perfectly straightforward.

In mid-2025, after a few difficult years, I made the difficult decision to close the business. For a while, I simply didn’t have it in me.

To clear my head and find a bit of what everyone’s searching for, I set off in a van with my two dogs. We travelled around France and Spain in a small van, taking things day by day, getting outdoors, and pressing reset.

Now I’m back in Devon, and that spark has returned. GB Toys & Models Direct is open again with a renewed focus on what I’ve always loved: great models, good conversation, and helping fellow collectors find the right piece.

We focus on models that are worth owning: pieces with real presence, strong detail, and proper collector appeal. Just as importantly, we believe in being clear and straight with you, accurate listings, realistic expectations, and no unnecessary sales talk. If something is limited, hard to find, or not quite right for what you're after, we'll tell you.
